Oppo will leave the European market? The company’s French employees say everything points to just that.
Earlier this year, reports appeared on the Web that Oppo could leave the European market, and at the same time take OnePlus with it. Then the second directly denied the rumors, and the first did it not very confidently. However, new data indicate that the rumors could still be true.
The Frandroid resource spoke with several Oppo employees in France. According to them, there are a number of factors hinting at the imminent departure of the company, at least from France. First, Oppo’s contract with Atmospheres, the contractor responsible for selling the company’s smartphones in that country, expires on June 30th. Secondly, Oppo employees were informed that the new Find X and Reno smartphones will not appear in France, and the foldable Find N2 Flip was supposed to appear in retail stores, but in the end it is only available online.
Thirdly, the staff of Oppo stores allegedly received instructions to dismantle advertising stands, and the company stopped advertising activities some time ago.
We realized that they were leaving because we were no longer taught new products. We saw the Find X release in China, but it never made it to France. The Reno 8 series has been introduced but will also not be available in France. When the Find N2 Flip was launched, we were initially informed of its availability in physical stores, but it ended up being sold only on the website.

With the launch of the first commercial 6G networks still years away, China has installed the first experimental 5.5G signal transmission tower.
The tower is located in Beijing, and the standard is correctly called 5G-A, but usually it is simply called 5.5G.
As you might guess, this is a transitional link between 5G and 6G. Of course, not in terms of technology, but rather due to the increased data transfer rate, which in this case reaches 10 Gb / s.
How widespread such networks will become in the coming years is anyone’s guess, but it’s worth noting that Huawei is responsible for the development of 5.5G, which announced this solution last year.
Logitech has announced the imminent launch of a self-repair program similar to those for Google, Samsung and Valve appliances - in collaboration with the well-known iFixit project.
Official parts, batteries, and repair manuals for selected Logitech products will be available through iFixit starting Summer 2023. The first signs will be computer mice of the Logitech MX Master and MX Anywhere series.
All materials will be placed in the repair center iFixit Logitech Repair Hub, components can be purchased as needed or as part of kits. Pricing information has not yet been disclosed.
