Zeiss ZX1 Android camera can be pre-ordered for $ 6,000

Zeiss announced the ZX1 camera over two years ago. It is a full-frame camera with a 37-megapixel sensor, 35mm f / 2 lens, electronic viewfinder, and three wheels that allow you to adjust aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. The device is also equipped with a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, Wi-Fi module, USB-C port and 512 GB of internal memory. But what’s most interesting is that the camera runs a special version of Android, which includes built-in Adobe Lightroom, which allows you to edit photos directly on the device itself.

Among the Zeiss ZX1 competitors are the Sony RX1 with a similar lens for $ 3300 and the Leica Q2 for $ 4995. But they, of course, cannot boast of such advanced software as Zeiss has. However, there are no reviews of the camera so far, so it’s hard to talk about its effectiveness.

Zeiss ZX1 is now available for pre-order in the B&H Photo online store. However, there is no specific date for the camera to go on sale yet.
