Vivo today officially revealed the date of the announcement of the flagship X80 smartphones. New items will debut on April 25. The series is expected to be represented by three models – the base X80, the middle X80 Pro and the top X80 Pro+.

Vivo is focusing on the X80 camera, which was developed in collaboration with Zeiss and uses Zeiss Vario-Tessar optics. Quality lenses are complemented by quality sensors. The main sensor of the Vivo X80 is expected to be the Sony IMX866, an improved version of the 50-megapixel IMX766 sensor now used in many flagships.

And in the Vivo X80 Pro and Vivo X80 Pro +, the main sensor will be Samsung GNV – an improved version of the 50-megapixel Samsung GN1. Also in the main camera system of the Vivo X80 Pro and Vivo X80 Pro +, Sony IMX598 (48 MP, with an ultra-wide-angle lens), Sony IMX663 (12 MP, with a portrait lens) and 8-megapixel sensors as part of a periscope module with 5x optical zoom are assigned.

According to preliminary data, Vivo X80 will be based on Dimensity 9000 SoC, while Vivo X80 Pro and Vivo X80 Pro + will receive SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The smartphones will also use their own V1 + image processor, which should significantly improve the quality of shooting, especially in low light conditions. .
