The story began in the spring, when Xbox Marketing Director Aaron Greenberg pledged that Microsoft would launch the Xbox Series X Mini Refrigerators in 2021 if the company succeeds in winning the brand competition on Twitter. In a Twitter vote, Microsoft won.

Microsoft said today: “You voted. Now we’re making your Xbox Series X mini fridge a reality. ” Acceptance of pre-orders will begin on October 19 in the US, UK, Canada and Europe. The price depends on the region, for example, in the US it is $ 100, and in Europe it is 99 euros. It will hit retail stores around the world in December 2021. In 2022, Microsoft plans to expand the number of regions where you can buy the Xbox Mini Fridge.

The refrigerator can hold up to 10 cans of 0.3 l each with drinks, and on two shelves on the door you can place snacks. There is a USB port on the front of the mini fridge for charging devices.

One such full-size refrigerator was received by Snoop Dogg, the second – by blogger iJustine, and the third was given to Xbox fans.
