The goal was to cool the “ardent heart” of the smartphone – the Snapdragon 888 single-chip system, which in this model still continues to overheat. A noble goal has been achieved, but at what cost?
Users in China who have already tried out the smartphone after installing the update noted that the patch severely limits the performance of the Snapdragon 888. At the same time, problems with frame drops begin to appear in games, and the frame rate in them is forcibly reduced to 60 fps. The irony is that before that, when overheating in games, the Snapdragon 888 went into trotting … with the same consequences: a decrease in performance and frame drops.

In a couple of weeks there will be a presentation of the first smartphone company Nothing, which will be released under the name Nothing Phone (1). Now there is information that it will be a fairly affordable device.
A version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory, according to rumors, should go on sale for about $ 390. The 8/256 GB version will cost around $405, while the 12/256 GB version will cost $455.
Nothing Phone (1) will receive a FullHD + OLED screen with support for a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It will be built on the basis of a Snapdragon 778G + single-chip system. The main camera will be equipped with image sensors with a resolution of 50 and 16 megapixels, the front camera will be 16 megapixels. The battery capacity will be 4500 mAh, it will support 45-watt charging.
The smartphone will run on the Android 12 operating system with the Nothing OS shell and proprietary Glyph Interface installed.
