Xiaomi Smart Display 10 presented: smart screen, speaker and large tablet for less than $150
Xiaomi introduced a new smart home device, which turned out to be the Xiaomi Smart Display 10 smart screen. The device received a metal case with fabric on the front under the screen.
It has a stand that can be adjusted so that the smart screen stands at an angle of 90 to 120 degrees. To protect privacy, there is also a physical shutter to hide the camera. The smart screen received a 10.1-inch HD display.
It can act as a remote control for smart home devices. It even works as an entertainment center where users can watch photos and movies. Thanks to the front camera and microphone, you can also make video calls. The 5MP camera supports user face tracking.
Xiaomi Smart Display 10 supports a voice assistant, the device received dual stereo speakers, support for a number of applications and a special children’s mode with an intelligent identification system based on face recognition technology. There are also pre-installed educational apps for kids.
The price is $147, sales will begin on April 29 in China.

The world’s thinnest and lightest large tablet: Huawei MatePad Pro with flexible OLED screen introduced
As expected, today at a presentation in China, Huawei presented its flagship tablet – MatePad Pro. This is a huge gadget with a diagonal of 13.2 inches, it is positioned as the world’s thinnest and lightest large tablet with an edge-to-edge screen.
The tablet weighs 580 grams, the thickness is 5.5 mm, the screen frames are only 3.4 mm wide, and the screen occupies 94% of the front panel area. The manufacturer compares the device with the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, which turned out to be heavier and thicker.
The tablet is equipped with a flexible OLED screen with a resolution of 2880 x 1920 pixels and an image refresh rate of 144 Hz. The hardware basis was the Kirin 9000s platform, as in the Mate 60 series smartphones. Also among the characteristics are a front camera (16 MP and 3D ToF), a main camera (13 and 8 MP), six speakers (two high-frequency and four low-frequency), a battery with a capacity of 10 100 mAh with support for charging power operating system HarmonyOS 4.
Along with the tablet, the third generation M-Pencil stylus is presented. It will be one of the first devices to support StarLight connectivity technology and supports recognition of up to 10 thousand pressure levels.
Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 is offered in three color options – blue, white and black. Accepting orders starts today at prices starting from $684.

The Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 tablet computer appeared in the Geekbench benchmark database ahead of its official premiere tomorrow. The device runs AOSP 12, which is how HarmonyOS 4.0 is defined.
The RAM capacity is 12 GB; the hardware platform is Kirin 9000s. That is, in terms of hardware platform components, the tablet is unified with Huawei Mate 60 Pro.
According to preliminary data, Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 will receive five versions, and the version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory is the basic one. At the top of the range will be the 16 GB/1 TB version with a built-in LTE modem, as well as a stylus and keyboard included.
