Xiaomi sells smartphones “like fast food”. 5,000th Mi Home store opened

Xiaomi held its 5,000th Mi Home store in China yesterday, April 3, 2021.
Xiaomi has been rapidly expanding the number of branded retail stores in recent months. As of the end of 2019, there were only 630 Xiaomi stores in mainland China. On December 6, 2020, the 1000th Xiaomi store opened, and in early January the number of branded stores reached two thousand.
On this trend, Vice President of Xiaomi China Gao Ziguang put it this way:
“The offline business of Xiaomi mobile phones is selling mobile phones “like fast food” – we need to improve the efficiency of store turnover and increase supply to achieve profitability. “
The “Jubilee” 5,000th store opened in Shenyang, one of the largest cities in northeastern China. There are, among other things, the latest flagship smartphones of the manufacturer, including the Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold, Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra.
