Xiaomi MiGu headband will help you control your smart home with your mind
Xiaomi announced on its official Weibo account that the winner of its third online hackathon was a project called MiGu. It’s a wearable device, sort of like a headband, that allows you to control your smart home system using brainwaves. The Xiaomi MiGu model is equipped with three sensors that record the electrical signals of the brain. Using the potential difference between these sensors, the headband can read an approximate electroencephalogram (EEG) of its wearer.
In different emotional states, a person produces EEG curves of various shapes, and Xiaomi MiGu is able to recognize and analyze them. Thanks to this, the headband provides not only control of the smart home by the “power of thought”, but can also track the user’s fatigue, for example, while driving. This useful feature will help prevent accidents caused by driver fatigue. While there are no details about the characteristics of Xiaomi MiGu and it is not clear whether this interesting device is threatened with a commercial release in the near future.

Huawei Mate 50 will allow you to call and send messages even after the battery is low

Interesting information has emerged about the flagship Huawei Mate 50 series of smartphones, which could be released as early as September this year.
The new version of the Harmony 3.0 operating system, which will run smartphones of the Huawei Mate 50 series, will have an emergency mode that turns on after the battery is low. In this mode, users will retain the ability to receive and send text messages. In addition, you will still be able to make an emergency call.
That is, even after the smartphone informs you that the battery is completely discharged, you will remain in touch for some time. Most likely, you should not expect any amazing technologies from this function. It’s just that the operating system will keep counting the battery charge level, saving some percentage for emergency mode. And when Harmony 3.0 reports that the battery is empty at 0, in fact, it will retain a certain percentage of the charge.
According to previous news, the Huawei Mate 50 series will consist of four models, including Mate 50e, Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro, and Mate 50 RS.
