The fate of the RTX 3080 with 12 GB of memory was very strange. Initially, the card was presented at the beginning of 2022 at CES 2022, then it was re-announced a week and a half later and put on sale without announcing the price, and already in June, Nvidia decided to abandon this model, stopping production. Over the past two months, the cryptocurrency market has collapsed even more, the prices of video cards have gone down, but Nvidia’s warehouses are still full, and the current generation GPU needs to be disposed of, since there is already a new one on the nose.

In terms of specs, the RTX 3080 12GB has 8960 CUDA cores and a 384-bit memory bus.

AMD has confirmed that it will be announcing new Ryzen processors on August 29th.
