I hear myself typing I hear birds AirPods Max owners

According to 9to5mac, there are more and more reviews on the Web from AirPods Max owners who are convinced that the latest update has worsened the active noise cancellation function.

Below are some reviews:

  • I can hear my typing and other external noises that I didn’t hear before after the update. Wondering if anyone else is having this problem.
  • I hear myself typing. I hear birds. Now I can hear a lot more. Noise canceling is gone. I went to Apple, got a replacement, but the problem persisted.
  • I hear cars passing down the street, the clang of dumbbells in the gym. Prior to the update, noise reduction worked much better.
