Chinese insider Ice Universe, who leaked a lot of reliable information about different smartphones, made an interesting statement about the Xiaomi flagship camera phone 12 Ultra.

He said that in terms of photo quality, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra camera will approach SLR cameras as close as no other smartphone camera has been able to before it.

Yesterday, after a series of rumors, Xiaomi finally confirmed its “long-term strategic partnership” with Leica. Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi Group China and CEO of Redmi, said that this collaboration will usher in a “new era of mobile imaging.” The announcement also marked the end of a multi-year collaboration between the well-known camera manufacturer and Huawei, which had been going on since 2016.

The Xiaomi 12 Ultra is rumored to have a 6.73-inch 3200 x 1440 pixel display that will use an AMOLED LTPO 2.0 panel. This will allow the display to adaptively adjust its refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz.

Presumably, Xiaomi 12 Ultra will receive a Sony IMX800 image sensor, which with it faster autofocus, improved low-light performance and improved image stabilization. The optical format of the Sony IMX800 will be 1/1.1 inches, while the sensor will have a resolution of 50 megapixels. It will be one of the largest sensors on the market. In addition, the smartphone will receive a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module and a 48-megapixel telephoto lens. The main camera will offer 120x zoom. The front camera will also have a resolution of 48 megapixels.

Ice Universe has reported accurate information about smartphones and image sensors from Samsung and other manufacturers many times. In particular, he published the exact specifications of Redmi K40 and K50, as well as Xiaomi 12.

Flying car LEO Coupe will have over 200 propellers

LEO Flight, formerly known as Urban eVTOL, has revealed an alpha version of its LEO Coupe (LX-1) flying vehicle. It is alleged that the novelty will be able to transport three people at speeds up to 400 km / h.

Flying

The prototype is currently equipped with 72 duct fans to create lift. The final version will receive more than 200 propellers, which will allow the vehicle to take off and land vertically. According to the developers, this is the most efficient way to fly in this mode.

In addition, the LEO Coupe will be equipped with box-shaped wings, but they will provide lift at speeds of about 200 km / h, so at low speeds you will have to rely only on propellers.

Using a large number of small propellers instead of a few large ones will save battery power. Also, small fans reduce the dimensions of the machine. It is alleged that the LEO Coupe will be able to sit in a regular parking space.

A proof of concept in action is expected as early as August this year. But the timing of the appearance of the finished machine is not reported.

Earlier in Brazil, Eve received an order for 100 vertical takeoff and landing electric aircraft.

The best-selling portable console Steam Deck will become more affordable. Valve more than doubles production

It is unclear whether this will be enough to meet demand, since the company initially accepted a lot of orders for the console, and now it is very false to buy it. But such a significant increase in production volumes should have a positive impact on the availability and prices from resellers.

The company also announced that it has just completed deliveries of set-top boxes that were booked in the second quarter, and will begin accepting pre-orders for the third on June 30th. However, delivery on the site is still indicated no earlier than October.
