XFX Unveils Record-Length Speedster MERC319 AMD Radeon RX 6800/6800 XT Black Graphics Cards

American vendor XFX presented its vision of the sixth generation AMD graphics adapters – Speedster MERC319. The main feature of the novelty is its dimensions, which are 340 x 138 x 54 mm. In an era when video card manufacturers are strenuously “minimizing” their products, the Americans went the opposite way and presented a model with a length of 34 cm, which is undoubtedly a record for today.

Both cards have 16 GB of GDDR6 video memory operating in standard mode, a 256-bit bus, a cooling system with three fans and a dual BIOS. In the older 6800 XT model, the additional RAGE Overlocked BIOS mode overclocks the video card, while the Stealth BIOS of the younger model reduces the frequencies below the factory ones (judging by the name, this was invented to reduce the noise level). Both new items are powered by two eight-pin connectors and require a 750W power supply.

• The Speedster MERC319 AMD Radeon RX 6800 Black has 1775 (DC) / 1850-2155 (DC) / 2190 MHz.

By the way, there are some positive aspects in the long length of the video card – effective cooling, less load on the textolite. Of course, the user must correctly assess the dimensions of his case before purchasing.
