A student at the Federal Polytechnic Institute of Switzerland, Ken Pillonel, continues his experiments in transferring Apple devices to the USB-C interface. After his success with the iPhone X, he turned to AirPods.
The rework process in this case is not yet accompanied by text, so there are practically no details. The author only noted that it turned out to be easier to pull off such a trick with headphones than with the iPhone.
Whether the author will sell these headphones, as he did with the iPhone X, is still unknown. But it is reported that this is an open source project, so anyone can repeat it if they wish.
Wireless headphones for $16 with Bluetooth 5.3, large emitters and good autonomy. Realme Dizo Buds P presented
Realme has unveiled the Dizo Buds P wireless earbuds for just $16.
At the same time, for this money, headphones offer a lot. Firstly, it is based on 13 mm drivers, which means they are larger than in many more expensive headphones.
Secondly, the autonomy here is declared equal to 7 hours, which is quite good, and there is also fast charging: in 10 minutes, the headphones will be charged enough to work for 4 hours. Autonomy, taking into account the case, is declared equal to 40 hours.
Thirdly, there is the latest version of Bluetooth 5.3. You can also note the game mode with minimal delay, USB-C port for charging, the weight of the earphone is only 3.5 g and noise reduction during calls. But this is clearly not about active noise cancellation. The earphones will be available in white, black and blue from July 5th.
Active noise cancellation, water resistance, 30 hours of battery life and Huawei Band 7 as a gift. Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 flagship headphones unveiled
Huawei has unveiled its new Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 fully wireless headphones for the international market. They were developed in collaboration with the French company Devialet, which specializes in the production of audio equipment.
European users will be able to buy Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 in white, silver blue and gray versions. The price will be 199 euros. Those who pre-order receive a smart bracelet Huawei Band 7. Open sales will begin on July 11.
The headphones received an active noise reduction system with an efficiency of up to 47 dB, as well as a long battery life. Four modes are provided – comfortable, general and enhanced, as well as a sound transmission mode, when the user remains in touch with the outside world.
Each of the headphones is equipped with two emitters and three microphones. One emitter will be responsible for low frequencies, and the other for medium and high frequencies. The total frequency range is 14 Hz – 48 kHz.
Unlike its predecessors, the headphones are protected from moisture (IP54) and dust. With the charging case, the battery life is up to 30 hours. One charge will give you 4 hours of noise-cancelling and 6.5 hours without noise-cancelling.
Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 headphones will be different from most competitors in the market
Huawei is gearing up to release the FreeBuds Pro 2 fully wireless earphones. It is expected to be introduced this month for around 200 euros.
At the same time, the new model will be very different both from the current one, which also came out with a price of 200 euros, and from many other similar headphones on the market. The fact is that the headphones will be two-driver. One emitter will be responsible for low frequencies, and the other for medium and high frequencies. In theory, this should provide a significantly better sound quality, but here it is better to wait for the announcement and tests.
The source speaks of a frequency range from 14 Hz to 48 kHz, as well as a collaboration with Devialet. It also talks about Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification.
FreeBuds Pro 2 will also receive active noise cancellation, three microphones for each earpiece and AI algorithms. Autonomy will be 6.5 hours with active noise cancellation and up to 8 hours without it. In addition, the source speaks of protection against moisture (IP54).
