World of Tanks Blitz Teams Up With Music Band Korn To Launch A Game Event For Halloween

Wargaming announced that the cult rock band Korn and the popular video game World of Tanks Blitz have announced a collaboration on a Halloween project. The first result of the collaboration was the music video for the song Finally Free from the Californian band’s latest studio album The Nothing. The Halloween mode in World of Tanks Blitz – Burning Games – formed the basis for the group’s exclusive video.
Fans of Korn and World of Tanks Blitz players will enjoy the exciting Convergence in-game event, consisting of five stages, including the Korn group. From October 16 to October 24, all players will be able to complete in-game tasks in order to open parts of the group poster and receive special items.
The game will also feature a new Burning Games mode, in which players will have to fight for dominance on the battlefield in order to receive in-game rewards. The rules correspond to the spirit of Halloween: with the beginning of the battle, each tank loses health points like a vampire, and in order to get them back, you need to inflict damage on your opponents. The Burning Games mode is available for all types of vehicles starting from Tier V and will last from October 16 to 24.
Halloween Frenzy will also include a 60-stage Raider’s Path in-game event. By participating in it, tankers will be able to receive credits, Free XP, Premium Account days, several camouflages, a custom profile, and two new post-apocalyptic vehicles: Spike (Tier V) and Annihilator (Tier VII). Both tanks can be seen in a new video featuring Korn. Players who complete all 60 stages will be able to receive a unique animated radioactive rain camouflage. The Raider’s Path event will take place in the game from October 16 to 31 and is available for all Tier V vehicles and above. And from October 24 to October 31, Mad Games will return.
Recall that since its inception, Korn has sold 40 million albums, won two Grammy awards, played countless concerts around the world and set many records that are unlikely to ever be broken. Their music combines experiments in different genres from alternative to nu metal.
