Work in an office or quit. Elon Musk issues an ultimatum to Tesla employees
Elon Musk, Tesla’s chief executive officer, sent a letter to the company’s employees saying that they no longer have the right to work remotely. More precisely, you can work at home, but you still have to be at the office for at least 40 hours a week.
Anyone who wants to work remotely needs to be in the office for at least (and I mean *minimum*) 40 hours a week or leave Tesla. This is less than we demand from factory workers.
Elon Musk, CEO, clarified that the office refers specifically to Tesla’s main office, and not to a remote branch that is not related to job duties.
Elon Musk was asked to comment on the letter, as well as give some advice to people who think that going to work is an outdated concept. Musk said, “They have to pretend they work elsewhere.”

Volkswagen showed the seventh generation Transporter. A choice of diesel, hybrid and electric cars will be offered

Volkswagen is preparing to launch the seventh generation of its Transporter range, which will be presented to the world in the spring of 2024.
In a new teaser, VW explains that the new Transporter will take its place alongside the all-electric ID.Buzz and Multivan, aimed at families and leisure travelers.
Volkswagen Transporter will be completely business-focused, serving the needs of commercial vehicle operators throughout Europe. Volkswagen says it aims to make the van “suitable for everyone.” The company will offer a variety of powertrain options, including all-electric, plug-in hybrid and diesel powertrains.
In addition, the automaker boasts that the Transporter variant line-up will be “huge” and will include panel vans in two lengths and heights, a double-cab flatbed truck, a Kombi and a Caravelle shuttle bus to carry a large number of passengers.
Volkswagen has not yet revealed the technical specifications of the seventh-generation Transporter, but it is known that it will be closely related to the Ford Transit, with which it shares underpinnings, as a result of an alliance between the two brands.
Volkswagen says pre-sales of the new van should begin before the end of 2023 in Germany.
