From the rear, the Arrizo 5 GT no longer looks like a Camry, but some Toyota design notes can still be traced. And as many as four exhaust pipe holes attract attention – two on each side. Although it is possible that there is only one exhaust pipe, and the “additional holes” are just props.
However, the car received “the most powerful engine in the history of Chery”, due to which a decent dynamics is ensured – the Arrizo 5 GT accelerates to 100 km / h in 6 seconds. It uses a 1.6-liter turbocharged internal combustion engine. Power is 197 hp, maximum torque is 290 Nm. The source says that the parameters are comparable to a 2.0-liter Geely turbocharged engine, although the same Ford had a 1.5 Ecoboost about ten years ago, which produced about 180 hp. So it depends on what and with what to compare. The engine is connected to a 7DCT dual clutch transmission.
Dimensions Chery Arrizo 5 GT – 4710 x 1829 x 1490 mm, wheelbase length – 2670 mm. Interestingly, the regular Arrizo has the same wheelbase, while the GT version is longer by as much as 14 cm – clearly due to the swollen bumpers. The cost of Chery Arrizo 5 GT is not called, but in China, Arrizo 5 refers to inexpensive cars.

The 13.2-inch gadget is positioned as the world’s thinnest and lightest large tablet with an edge-to-edge screen. It weighs 580 grams, is 5.5mm thick, has a screen frame that’s just 3.4mm wide, and takes up 94% of the front panel area.
The tablet is equipped with an OLED screen with a resolution of 2880 × 1920 pixels and an image refresh rate of 144 Hz. The hardware basis was the Kirin 9000s platform, as in the Mate 60 series smartphones. Also among the characteristics are a front camera (16 MP and 3D ToF), a main camera (13 and 8 MP), six speakers (two high-frequency and four low-frequency), a battery with a capacity of 10 100 mAh with support for 88 W charging and HarmonyOS 4 operating system.
Everything is gearing up for the start of sales of Moskvich 6: the plant has already started talking about the new product in its Telegram channel. The last message talks about power units.
There will be two of them: in the base – a 136-horsepower turbo engine (with a torque of 200 Nm) paired with a CVT, in the top version – a 174-horsepower GDI engine (with a torque of 280 Nm) and a “robot” with two clutches wet type.
“The first version of the power unit is conducive to quiet trips with comfort, and the second is suitable for lovers of dynamic driving“, said Moskvich. It is also reported that the top-end engine has a direct injection engine, double phase control and increased performance turbocharging.
The problems in the IT systems of the German automaker Volkswagen have been resolved, and production at the company’s factories in Germany is resuming. This was reported by the Bild newspaper with reference to a representative of the automaker.
“The IT infrastructure problems on the Volkswagen network were resolved overnight and the network is operating reliably again,” a Volkswagen spokesman said on Thursday, September 28.
The global production network is up and running, affected factories are back online and production should proceed as planned. Individual systems may still be unstable during the transition phase. Volkswagen found no indication that external influences caused the failure.
Earlier it became known that an IT failure affected most of the Volkswagen group. A significant part of IT systems and production was affected. In some cases, conveyors stopped and email did not work. The problem also affected other brands of the group, including Audi.
