Microsoft’s sound engineers have spent years creating sound effects for Windows, and have already been performed by an entire orchestra once. This time, the nostalgic sounds of Windows XP and Vista were performed a cappella.

The video was recorded by the South Korean music group Maytree. The clip turned out to be very popular – two days after its publication, it has already scored 3.6 million “likes” on TikTok.

Despite the fact that the official “end of life” of Windows XP came in April 2014, the OS “stayed afloat” for a long time, and only in December 2020 did the share of Windows XP finally fall below 1%. Back in August, the 19-year-old OS was installed on 1.26% of all laptops and desktops in the world – on millions of computers.

Usually manufacturers first of all stop supporting the most budget devices.

Interestingly, the Galaxy A01 owners in Uzbekistan were the first to receive the update.
