Windows 12 is just around the corner? The future of Intel is credited with supporting the new OS
Windows 12 operating system may be released in the foreseeable future. Earlier we already saw a screenshot allegedly taken in the new OS, but now there are indirect indications of this system. TCL insider (@leaf_hobby), describing Intel Meteor Lake processors, mentioned support for Windows 12.
Meteor Lake itself Intel promises to release this year. True, there are still questions as to whether such CPUs will appear in the desktop segment. The same insider just the other day claimed that Meteor Lake-S would still come out.
Of course, this does not mean that Windows 12 will also appear this year, but there have already been rumors about the launch of this OS in 2024. In addition, Microsoft’s head of consumer marketing hinted at a new version of Windows in an interview with The Verge a week ago.
As we start developing future versions of Windows, we will be thinking about places where AI should play a natural role in terms of user experience.
As we know, AI is already integrated into Windows 11 as part of the latest update.
The Verge believes that if Microsoft is really going to deeply integrate AI into the new version of Windows, Microsoft needs to work actively with AMD and Intel for good optimization now. By the way, the latest Ryzen 7040H/HS mobile CPUs already have a hardware block for working with AI.
TCL insider (@leaf_hobby) recently provided information on the parameters of the Intel Xeon W3400/2400 processors before their launch.

Apple has already “pranked” iPhone owners on April 1: many users in China have stopped working weather app

On April Fool’s Day, big technology companies often play pranks on their colleagues and users. It looks like Apple has already “pranked” iPhone owners in China.
Early in the morning, many users started complaining that the built-in weather app on the iPhone was not working or was freezing on startup. The problem manifests itself in users of a variety of iPhone models.
At the same time, according to messages on the forums, this problem is not fixed after re-launching applications or completely rebooting the smartphone. Presumably, the problem may be caused by idle network servers.
At the time of publication, Apple has not commented on the situation, and the problem has not yet been fixed.
It is worth adding that a similar problem with the weather application occurred on March 5 and 10.

Windows activation with ChatGPT. A popular chatbot really gave out a working key

YouTube user Enderman posted a video in which he tricks ChatGPT into generating a usable Windows 95 activation key.
Initially, when he asked ChatGPT directly to generate a Windows 95 activation key, he received the expected refusal. The chatbot reported that it could not generate keys for Windows, adding that Windows 95 was an outdated operating system and advising to upgrade to a newer version of the OS.
Then Enderman decided to go from a different angle in order to get around the fundamental failure of ChatGPT to generate an activation key. The first attempts were not successful and caused an error, however, a few changes in the request structure helped.
The Windows 95 key format is quite simple, it is described in the illustration. Enderman asked for a sequence of numbers, describing the exact requirements. As a result, one of the 30 activation keys generated by ChatGPT came up.
Enderman believes that the reason why all 30 digit sequences returned did not fit is the part where 5 digits are presented, the sum of which should be divisible by 7. For some reason, ChatGPT does not follow this simple description and substitutes random numbers there.
When Enderman thanked ChatGPT for generating a free key for Windows 95, the chatbot apologized for the misunderstanding, stating that it didn’t provide any keys.
And after Enderman stated that ChatGPT was wrong and the user did indeed activate Windows 95 with a specific key, the chatbot stated, “Sorry, but that’s not possible.”
