Will video cards become even more expensive? MSI announces that it will raise prices for its products

At the moment, the market for video cards is dominated by a shortage, overpriced and other delights that have been going on since last year. Usually, when they talk about inflated prices, they mean resellers or, in extreme cases, end sellers, but not the producers themselves.

It looks like the situation has become even more complicated, since MSI, according to a source, announced an imminent increase in prices for video cards. This is due to the deficit, which may remain on the market until the very end of this year.

How much MSI will raise prices is unclear, but other manufacturers may well join it, which will make video cards even more expensive for end users, regardless of how they purchase the devices.

Also MSI in the next report reported a growth of net profit by 42% over the last year. 43% of the company’s revenue in 2020 came from sales of laptops, desktops and monitors. Another 53% came from computer components.
