Will Samsung have a competitor for Xiaomi Mi Band 7? Smart bracelet Galaxy Fit3 may be released this year
Samsung does not pay much attention to smart bracelets, preferring to concentrate on watches. But still, the Galaxy Fit line has not been forgotten. As reported, the new model may appear soon enough.
The current Galaxy Fit2 came out back in 2020, so an update would definitely come in handy. Fit3 will be released either in the second half of this year or early next. The source quotes a price of 50,000 South Korean won, which corresponds to the price of Fit2 at the start of sales. That is, in Europe they will ask for about 50 euros for a new bracelet, and about 60 dollars in the USA.
There are no technical parameters of the novelty. Over the years since the announcement of the Fit2, competitors’ wristbands have at least received noticeably larger screens, so you can expect the same from a Samsung product. It would also be logical to expect the function of a pulse oximeter.

Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group, president of the international department and general manager of the Redmi brand, recalled that this week a new smartwatch will be presented along with the Redmi K70 smartphones.
The first metal Redmi watch was called Redmi Watch 4. Lu Weibing confirmed that the watch received a large screen with a diagonal of 1.97 inches. But thanks to low power consumption, they can work without recharging for up to 20 days. It is worth recalling that the Apple Watch, until the latest generation, was criticized for its short battery life.
Lu Weibing previously stated that in this model the manufacturer went for “a comprehensive update of the screen, design and materials, which made the new product fashionable and completely improved.”

A very strange design, inspired by the human-centric architecture of the 1960s. MB&F Horological Machine N?11 Architect Watch Unveiled for $230,000

The Swiss manufacturer of luxury wristwatches MB&F presented a new model with the long name Horological Machine Nº11 Architect and an extremely unusual design.
As the manufacturer himself says, the design was inspired by the human-oriented architecture of the 1960s.
The centerpiece of the HM11 Architect case is a flying tourbillon, enclosed under a double-domed sapphire roof, reminiscent of the lanterns of ancient temples. This central tourbillon is surrounded by four symmetrical elements, each with a specific function: time display, power reserve, thermometer and crown for setting the time. This is an allusion to the four rooms in the house. These functions are accessed through a rotating design, highlighting the interactive nature of the watch and its energy efficiency.
The watch consists of 364 components, of which 92 are in the case. What’s interesting is that the mechanism underlying the watch cannot be assembled separately and then placed in a case—it simply won’t fit there. Therefore, the mechanism is assembled inside a partially open case. There are two versions of the watch: sapphire and titanium. One with blue PVD coating, the other with red gold PVD coating. There will be 25 pieces each, and it will take 18 months to make all 50 pieces. The watch costs $230,000.
The rest includes a power reserve of 96 hours, water protection (2 ATM), a titanium case, a diameter of 42 mm, a balance frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour, and 29 jewels in the movement.
