The media has already confirmed that Twitter employees have lost access to their company shares from work accounts. They were also banned from trading in shares, including “bonus” ones – we are talking about those that they received as a reward. This restriction was introduced “in anticipation of the closing of the deal to acquire Twitter by an organization controlled by Musk.”

The block itself is temporary and is needed by the company to reconcile accounts before the sale. Twitter itself has so far declined to comment, but on the back of this news, the share price rose by 1.9%. According to the media, everything indicates that the deal will close soon.

Note that earlier experts predicted some kind of agreement between Musk and Twitter. It was assumed that before October 19, the parties will withdraw mutual claims from the court in order to complete the deal.

Earlier, Elon Musk accused Twitter of recklessness because of the company’s intention to continue litigation.
