While Mercedes-Benz is thinking, the Chinese have already released their electric Gelendvagen
Mercedes-Benz has previously confirmed that an electric version of the legendary Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV is in development, but so far the car is at the concept car stage, and the official release is still far away.
However, in China, those who wish can already purchase an electric Gelendvagen of local production. Externally, the car looks like a reduced copy of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class. At the same time, it is equipped with an engine with a power of only 4 kW.
Also, the Chinese Gelendvagen received front and rear parking sensors, a large digital instrument panel and a multimedia entertainment system screen, a “washer” for switching driving modes and a classic parking brake handle, which looks like a real alien from the past in this cabin.
The car can be charged from a conventional 220 V network, and the charging connector is hidden under the manufacturer’s logo. This is also a three-beam star, like Mercedes-Benz, but turned upside down.
Even the Chinese media have already questioned the safety of this car, as well as the strength of its body. In addition, poor battery placement and a poor charging system can lead to spontaneous combustion.

Kidston SA sold a 1922 Bentley 3 Liter convertible for about $3.7 million. Kidston calls it “one of the most historically significant British cars”.
It is the first Bentley (and the first British car) to compete in the grueling 24 Hours of Le Mans, which took place exactly one hundred years ago, in 1923.
The Bentley 3 Litre (Chassis 141) took fourth place at Le Mans as early as May 1923, but cemented the brand’s status as a serious competitor. Moreover, the car glorified Bentley and spurred brand sales.
The car was driven by Bentley dealer John Duff, who covered 3,350 km and set 38 international records. The Bentley 3 Liter engine has about 70 hp. and allows you to accelerate to 136 km / h.
“This Bentley is more than just an old car, it is a turning point in motorsport history and the cornerstone of the Bentley legend,” said Simon Kidston, founder of Kidston, who brokered the recent deal.
