More details continue to emerge about the tablets soon to be released by Xiaomi. Insider Digital Chat Station reports that two new tablets are in development, which will be released under the names Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro will receive an 11-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels (aspect ratio 16:00), which is capable of recognizing 4096 degrees of pressure. This will allow you to use the stylus not only for writing, but also for drawing with different line widths. The screen will support 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz sampling rate.
The main difference between Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro will be the platforms used. One version will receive a 5nm Snapdragon 780G SoC with an integrated Snapdragon X53 5G modem. The second version will be powered by Snapdragon 855+ or Snapdragon 860.
Yesterday, sources announced the preparation of three models of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 line at once, which are supposedly equipped with Snapdragon 870 or Snapdragon 860, four speakers and NFC. Previously, Digital Chat Station was the first to accurately report the characteristics and release dates of the Redmi K30 and Xiaomi Mi 10, and also regularly publishes information received from its own informants in the research and development departments of various companies.
According to a previous leak, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 lineup should be presented on May 15.
