A 96-core AMD Epyc 9654P processor (Genoa line) has been spotted in the Geekbench database. The CPU was tested as part of an Asus RS500A-E12-RS12U server with a K14PA-U24 motherboard. The letter P in the name indicates that the CPU is designed for a single socket configuration. The server included 768 GB of DDR5-4800 RAM, and the OS was Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS.

Epyc 9654P consists of 12 CCD modules with 8 Zen 4 cores each. It turns out that there are 50% more cores than in CPU Milan. However, this version of the Genoa line is not the top one – there will be a 192-core Epyc 9664.

But back to the hero of the test. Each chiplet will have 32MB of L3 cache available to all cores and 1MB of L2 cache per core. This gives 384 MB of L3 and 96 L2 cache for the entire CPU, for a total cache of 480 MB. In comparison, the Epyc 7763 (Milan) only has 288 MB of total cache. The frequency of the Epyc 9654P was 3.71 GHz.

As for the results, the CPU scored 1467 points in the single-threaded test, and 77251 points in the multi-threaded test. It is noticeably faster than the 96-core Intel Xeon Platinum 8468 in a single-threaded test (1253 points) and slightly faster in a multi-threaded test (74,853 points). But the final version of the CPU Epyc 9654P performance, especially multi-threaded, should be much better. So this CPU result in Geekbench can be considered only intermediate.

This is not a photo, but screenshots from the video. Possibly one of the first reviews. But in any case, the phones are shown live for the first time. And in these pictures, the Xaiomi 13 with a flat side frame looks even more like the iPhone 14 than in the renders previously published on the Web. But Xiaomi 13 Pro has a narrower frame due to the curved screen (in Xiaomi 13 the screen will be flat).

Interestingly, there is no Leica logo on the body (in the camera unit), although the camera of these models should have been developed in collaboration with a German camera and optics manufacturer.
