Watch Dogs Legion 2.00 PC Update Fixes Numerous Crashes and Bugs

Published

on

Ubisoft has released Update 2.0 for the PC version of Watch Dogs Legion, which weighs in at around 2.2GB. According to the release notes, this patch fixes a number of glitches and bugs experienced by players.

For more details, update 2.0 has fixed a crash that could occur when starting a new game. It also fixes certain crashes that can occur with ray traced graphics cards. Additionally, it fixes a crash that could occur on a multi-threaded CPU when multi-threading was disabled.

Unfortunately, this update did not bring any performance improvements. So yes, those hoping for better frame rates will have to wait for the next patch, although there is no certainty that Ubisoft will ever improve the game’s performance.

As always, UPLAY and the Epic Games Store will download Update 2.0 the next time their clients launch. You can also find the complete changelog below.

Against the backdrop of active mergers and acquisitions in the gaming market, the corresponding question was asked by Take Two Interactive, which is primarily known as the owner of Rockstar and, accordingly, the GTA franchise.

Why GTA VI with such success of GTA V? The game has sold over 165 million copies.

Judging by the answer, now the company is not considering the possibility of selling itself to anyone.

We are a public company and we are here for the shareholders. However, our track record of creating value as an independent business is amazing, especially if we exclude the last three months. We think there are many great times ahead for us and we enjoy being an independent company.

One of the main reasons Take Two Interactive is unlikely to want to sell its assets to anyone is the success of GTA V. The company said that it sold another 5 million copies of the game in the last quarter, so now the total circulation is an incredible 165 million copies.

Speaking about the finances of Take Two Interactive, we can note the report on the results of the 2022 financial year, which ended on March 31 for the company. Revenue was $3.5 billion, up 4%. Net profit decreased from 589 to 418 million dollars.
