Vivo Y12s – a new smartphone from Vivo with Helio P35, two 13 MP cameras and 5000 mAh battery



Vivo has unveiled a new mid-range phone called the Vivo Y12s. The phone is already available for purchase in Asian markets such as Hong Kong and Vietnam. Later, the smartphone will appear in other markets. The Vivo Y12s features a large screen, large battery and dual 13MP rear cameras. And all this for about $ 142.

The Vivo Y12s has a 6.51-inch large IPS LCD. The teardrop notch screen provides HD + 720×1600 pixels and a 20: 9 aspect ratio. The phone measures 164.41×76.32×7.41 mm and weighs 191 grams.

It has an 8MP front camera. On the back of the phone is a vertical camera unit that includes a dual 13MP f / 1.8 primary camera and a 2MP f / 2.4 secondary lens.

Under the hood of the Vivo Y12s is the P35 Helio. The SoC is paired with 3GB of RAM. The phone comes with 32GB internal storage and there is a microSD card slot on the board. The Vivo Y12s comes preinstalled with Android 10 based on FunTouch OS 11.

The Vivo Y12s is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 10W charging. Common connectivity features such as dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, microUSB and 3.5mm audio jack are also available on the Y12s. The phone also features a side fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature.

The Vivo Y12s costs HK $ 1,098 (~ $ 142) and is available in two colors: Phantom Black and Glacier Blue.
