Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro officially showcase Exynos 1080 and OriginOS chipset



The company has finally unveiled a new series of smartphones – Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro. Both new items are distinguished by an ultra-thin body, equipped with a new Samsung Exynos 1080 chipset, a 48MP Sony IMX598 main camera with a 4-axis optical stabilization system. The manufacturer installs a battery for 4300 mAh and 4200 mAh (in the Pro version) with support for 33W fast charging.

Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro get 6.56-inch Super AMOLED (E3) display with FHD + resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10 +, built-in fingerprint scanner from Huitian Technology. The 32 megapixel front camera is located in a neat perforated hole in the top center.

The new products use a curved 3D display and a classic two-tone color scheme. The standard version is 7.36mm thick and weighs 176.2g, while the Pro version is 7.69mm thick and weighs 179g.

Vivo X60 is equipped with a triple camera 48 + 13 + 13 MP, and in the Pro version there is another Zeiss Biotar 8 MP lens with a Tessar lens for portrait shooting. Photos and videos are the strengths of the new Vivo series. Both new items, according to the company’s presentation, do an excellent job of shooting in difficult conditions.

The Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro run Android 11 with OriginOS. This series marks the debut of the Exynos 1080 5nm chipset, which Samsung claims is faster than the Snapdragon 865+. You can read more about this here.

Presented memory configurations (LPDDR4X + UFS 3.1) and prices of Vivo X60 smartphones:

  • Vivo X60 8GB + 128GB – $ 536;
  • Vivo X60 8GB + 256GB – $ 582;
  • Vivo X60 Pro 12GB + 256GB – $ 689

At the moment, pre-order is open, and the first sales are scheduled for January 8th.
