DxOMark researchers have published a comprehensive test of the Vivo X50 Pro + quad camera. The result turned out to be somewhat overwhelming: the device with a score of 127 points broke into the Top 3 smartphone ratings, behind only the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra and Huawei P40 Pro. But behind such recognized camera phones as Huawei Mate 30 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro and even Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra! It seems that Vivo smartphones have never climbed so high in the DxOMark ranking.
For shooting a photo, the Vivo X50 Pro + received 139 points (pay attention to the best disciplines – autofocus and zoom), for shooting a video – 104 points (here they also appreciated autofocus, as well as image stabilization).
When shooting a photo, experts noted high detail and low noise even in low light, accurate white balance, wide dynamic range, high detail throughout the entire focal length range. The downsides mainly boil down to various kinds of artifacts, as well as unnatural colors and dark shots when shooting with an ultra wide-angle camera. Pros when shooting video are accurate exposure, fast autofocus, effective stabilization, and high detail. In general, experts are happy with everything, except perhaps the 13-megapixel module with an ultra-wide-angle lens.
