Today, December 7, the Chinese company Vivo quietly presented its new smartphone on the home market. This is a 5G mid-range model called Vivo Y52s.

The new Vivo Y52s smartphone is based on the Dimensity 720 chipset from MediaTek, supplemented by 6 or 8 GB of RAM. For storage, there is a built-in 128 GB drive. Whether the smartphone has a slot for mciroSD memory cards, the manufacturer does not specify.

Almost the entire front panel of the smartphone is occupied by a 6.58-inch LCD screen with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. At the top, it has a drop-shaped notch for an 8-megapixel selfie camera. On the reverse side, there is a main 48-megapixel camera with an additional 2-megapixel module that acts as a depth sensor for blurring the background in portrait shots (the so-called bokeh effect). A 5000 mAh rechargeable battery is responsible for the autonomy of the novelty, which supports the 18W fast charging function. There’s a USB Type-C port for charging, and next to it is a separate 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone runs on the Android mobile operating system with the FuntouchOS 10.5 shell installed on top.

Vivo Y52s is available in three colors, one of which is gradient. It is already available to order at 1598 Yuan, or about $ 245 for the model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and 1798 Yuan, or $ 275 for the version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
