Videos with the first launch of the PlayStation 5 and gameplay began to appear on the network

Today, November 12, in some countries, including the USA and Japan, the sales of the new PlayStation 5 console started. The first buyers are already sharing the video with the first launch of the console and the gameplay.

When you turn on the console, you can hear the characteristic PlayStation launch sound. The loading screen has been drastically redesigned from the PS4. The first time you connect, you need to select a language, adjust the HDR (brightness) mode, adjust the power setting, accept the license agreement, and enter your username. The main menu GUI itself looks nice and, most importantly, runs smoothly.

Next, the user who posted the video moved on to testing games. The video shows the following projects:

  • GTA San Andreas;
  • GTA V;
  • PUBG;
  • Call of Duty Black Ops 3;
  • God of War;
  • Days Gone;
  • Bloodborne;
  • Shadow of the Colossus;
  • The Last of US Remastered;
  • The Last of US II;
  • Call of Duty Warzone.

All of these games were released for previous versions of Sony consoles, but they perform well on PS5, with the possible exception of Bloodborne, since the game does not work at 60 FPS.

On the other hand, the new project Spider-Man Miles Morales, which launched today with the launch of the PS5, shows a new level of graphics with support for ray tracing. However, there were some “bugs” here, like NPCs stuck in the walls.

Finally, TheRelaxingEnd showed the PS Store with updated prices for games. As expected, new large projects will be significantly more expensive. In particular, the Demon’s Souls Remake will cost € 79.95, as well as GodFall or Spider-Man Miles Morales.
