The average price of many video cards has already fallen below the recommended price before. However, key models introduced back in 2020, including the AMD Radeon RX 6800XT and RX 6800, as well as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, RTX 3070 and RTX 3080 10GB, have been selling at higher than recommended prices until recently. Now their prices have dropped. The source has prepared fresh price statistics for the Radeon RX 6000 and GeForce RTX 30 series video cards in stores in Germany and Austria.

Retailers were reluctant to lower the price tags for the above models to the recommended ones, as these video cards were already in high demand. According to 3DCenter, these graphics cards are now about 3% below the recommended price.

The minimum price of the same Radeon RX 6800 XT is now 759 euros, and the Radeon RX 6800 model can be found from 639 euros. Technically, these prices are still higher than recommended, but only taking into account the current exchange rate of the euro against the dollar, as well as taking into account the 19% VAT that is levied in Austria and Germany.

Prices for the latest Nvidia dongles are slightly higher. For example, the GeForce RTX 3080 10 GB is currently available for €779, while the GeForce RTX 3070 model is available for €579. In both cases, this is slightly higher than the recommended values. The only Nvidia card on this list of accelerators that is offered at a recommended price (including exchange rates and VAT) is the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti model. Its cost is 474 euros.

More recent graphics cards released in 2022, including AMD’s Radeon RX 6500 XT, Radeon RX 6400, Radeon RX 6650 XT, Radeon RX 6700, Radeon RX 6750 XT, and Radeon RX 6950 XT, and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 and GeForce The RTX 3090 Ti doesn’t get cheaper that quickly. However, this should change soon, as new series of accelerators will replace the flagship models, and younger models will quickly lose in price with the release of analogues on new graphic architectures.

Whether Acer will release only Intel cards is still unknown. In this case, we can see a non-reference design, two eight-pin power connectors at once (the reference card has 6 + 8 connectors) and a very unusual cooling system with two fans, which are very different both in size and design. The smaller one is completely similar to the centrifugal one, but it is impossible to say for sure from one image.

There is also no data on the Acer card yet. Recall, Arc A770 has 8 or 16 GB of memory and 4096 FP32 blocks. The card is priced at $330 or $350, depending on the version. Intel also introduced the more affordable Arc A750, priced at $290.
