The Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 GX650 gaming laptop has been spotted on the Web with yet to be presented CPU and GPU.

The model will be based on the most powerful solutions from AMD and Nvidia of the next generation. More precisely, the heart will be the Ryzen 9 6900HX hybrid processor, and the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti will be responsible for the graphics subsystem. Also, the top configuration of the laptop will receive 16 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1 TB SSD. The laptop screen will be 16-inch with Full HD resolution and support for 300 Hz.

The Ryzen 9 6900HX will definitely receive eight cores with SMT support, but the frequencies are not yet known. We also don’t know yet that it will differ from the Ryzen 9 5900HX. As for the RTX 3080 Ti, according to leaks, the card will be based on the new GA103 GPU with 7424 CUDA cores. She will also receive 16 GB of memory and a 256-bit bus.

A version with the same parameters, but also a dGPU in the face of the GeForce MX450, is priced at $740. The top variant with a Core i7-11390H processor and a GeForce MX450 costs $900.

As the same overclocker managed to find out now, BCLK OC is also supported by more affordable motherboards based on the Intel B660 chipset. And that’s great news for those who are considering switching to a new system, but don’t want to pay exorbitant prices for a motherboard based on a new chipset.
