Unkillable smartphone Cat S62 Pro with thermal imager went on sale



The Cat S62 Pro rugged smartphone has gone on sale in the United States under the Caterpillar brand and is offered at a price of $ 699.

The Cat S62 Pro is equipped with a thermal imaging camera system that will be useful to builders and other workers. The S62 Pro is an improved version of the Cat S61 that launched in 2018 for $ 900.

The Cat S62 Pro is MIL-STD-810G compliant and IP68 rated. It can withstand harsh industrial environments and withstand drops from hard surfaces thanks to its Gorilla Glass 6 screen and shockproof housing.

The Flir thermal imaging camera, which is installed in Cat S62 Pro modules, has received several exclusive enhancements that allow you to more accurately detect and diagnose moisture, draft, leakage, hotspots, short circuits and any temperature rise.

The smartphone is based on the Snapdragon 660 single-chip system, it received a 5.7-inch display, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory, as well as a 4000 mAh battery.
