Twitter launches new features in audio rooms
Twitter is adding new features to live audio rooms, which will give hosts more insight into the scope of their audios.
It will not only show the number of users who attended the broadcast, but also the number of people who accessed the audio recording.
New features for Twitter Spaces
One of the dynamics that allows Twitter Spaces is that the hosts can share tweets with the recordings of their audio rooms. An option that allows your conversations to reach more people or that those who could not attend the live broadcast can listen to them at any time.
And now the Twitter team is adding new options so hosts can see how popular their audio room has been. And for this, it will show how many users have joined the live broadcast and how many have played the repetition.
A basic metric, but one that will give hosts an idea about the audience and popularity of their live rooms. It may help you to evaluate what is the best time for the live broadcast, which topics generate the most interest, which guests attract the audience, among other factors.
As the image shows, this data will be displayed in the tweet that is shared along with the Spaces conversation recording. Let’s remember that when we share a recording of Spaces as hosts, we have the possibility to edit the start time to remove those awkward seconds from the beginning until the conversation is established.
This way, those who listen to the recording will not lose interest as soon as the recording begins. And on the other hand, in a Spaces recording, users will also be able to see on the card who attended the room or who is speaking as the conversation is played.

The latest Windows 11 update can significantly slow down the PC

Last week, Microsoft released the traditional monthly “updates on Tuesdays” (Patch Tuesday) for its operating system. According to feedback from users who installed the update on their PCs, the Windows 11 update was not without problems.
As users began to complain on social networks and on forums, the update can slow down SSDs and other boot drives, reduce download speeds, and so on.
For example, in a Reddit thread, user mesp21 says his NVMe SSD has more than halved its speed, from a nominal 7,000 MB/s to 3,000 MB/s. After removing the update, the speed returned to its previous values.
This post has received quite a bit of replies, with other users confirming that they are experiencing similar issues. Panellists also noted that game loading times were “noticeably” slower, and that there were “stutters” after the patch was installed on Tuesday.
Another user, Mrbigdog99, shared a screenshot showing CrystalDiskMark test results before and after the update, showing a significant slowdown:
