The cyberpunk we deserve Twitter users were enthusiastic about the

Today, Elon Musk presented a prototype of the Optimus robot – it already walks and sends air hearts to everyone. And after the official part of the event, the head of Tesla wrote the following verbatim on Twitter: “Of course, there will be a Catwoman version of our robot Optimus“.

The cyberpunk we deserve? Twitter users were enthusiastic about the announcement of Elon Musk's robot

An interesting statement was received with enthusiasm – the message received over 60 thousand likes, despite the fact that this is just a one-line announcement. Twitter users joke that through the efforts of Tesla, single men will finally be able to get a robot girlfriend.

When the robo-version of Catwoman will appear, it is not reported. Actually, Optimus itself is not yet ready: during the announcement, Musk noted that “there is still a lot of work to be done to improve Optimus and test it“. According to his forecasts, the robot will be perfect in 5-10 years. “I think Optimus will be incredible in five or 10 years, mind blowing“, – he said.

The robot will use Tesla-designed components, including a battery that sits on its torso, a chip system, and actuators to control its limbs. At the same time, the autopilot system, which is used on Tesla electric vehicles, will be installed in it. According to Musk, Optimus will cost “probably less than 20 thousand dollars“. Let’s hope the company doesn’t jack up the price of the Catwoman robot.

iPhone 13 Pro Max battery is draining like crazy Apple

There were many bugs in iOS 16, and Apple has already released two updates that fixed some of them. However, widespread reports of rapid battery drain continue to appear on various forums.

The 9to5Mac resource published the results of a survey on iOS 16 battery life. 14,000 people took part in the survey, of which 63% of respondents reported that battery life in iOS 16 has become noticeably worse.

“iPhone 13 Pro Max battery is draining like crazy. Apple needs to do something about this.

Here are some user reviews:

  • My iPhone 12 battery life literally halved after I installed iOS16. I fully charge twice a day, which is completely unproductive. Apple definitely needs to do something about this.
  • Like many others, the battery in my iPhone 13 Pro suddenly began to melt before our eyes. Before the update, the battery lasted a whole day (06:30-22:00) and I still had about 20% left. And now I have to charge the battery in the middle of the day, while using my smartphone as before.
  • Previously, my iPhone 12 Pro battery lasted all day without fail. Usually more than 10% remained at bedtime. I estimate that battery usage has increased by about 30%. Even a new battery won’t give me a whole day of use. There really is a problem here that Apple needs to fix.
  • iPhone 13 Pro Max battery is draining like crazy. Working time has dropped from 11-12 hours to only 7 hours. It drains very quickly when I use Facetime. I know it takes a few days for the phone to go back to normal, but it’s been almost a week now. I’m thinking of going back to 15.7.

iOS 15.5 users who have not yet updated to iOS 16 can install iOS 15.7, which includes security updates.
