Trump hasn’t succeeded yet. The court temporarily blocked the ban on TikTok in the United States

The situation around TikTok in the US is getting more interesting. A few hours ago, Donald Trump’s ban was supposed to come into force, but did not come into effect. At the last moment, US District Judge Carl Nichols issued a preliminary injunction to block the application.

For now, TikTok in the US may continue to operate normally. The final fate of Trump’s ban will be decided at a full hearing, which has yet to be set. In addition, the deferral could allow the parties to negotiate the purchase of a portion of TikTok from a US company. At the moment, the contenders are Oracle and Walmart, but some analysts believe that Beijing will not approve such a deal. In this case, the fate of Trump’s ban will finally be decided by the court.
