Treyarch Relaunches Zombie Mode In Black Ops Cold War: New Story, Weapons And Free Updates

It’s hard to imagine the Black Ops series without Zombies. With Cold War, the developers do not plan to change the canon, but presented an updated version of the mode.

Cold War Zombies

Zombie Mode in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War will remain co-op entertainment with a separate storyline. Under the direction of Gregory Weaver, the CIA team will travel to an abandoned bunker of the Second World War to investigate the appearance of the risen dead. They will be joined by the fighters of the Soviet Omega Group, who want not so much to eliminate the phenomenon as to study it.

Despite the new storyline and setting, the gameplay will remain classic. Players will continue to fight off waves of zombies, collecting bonuses and weapons along the way to cope with evil spirits more effectively. These include protective gear, as well as perks that grant fighters temporary special powers.

Black Ops Cold War will also feature rarity divisions of weapons. The more unique the barrel gets to the player, the more damage he can do. In addition, now on the battlefield, along with perks and weapons, players will be able to find Field modifications that will help to more effectively destroy zombies or defend against them.

From the pleasant bonuses: the developers announced a complete crossplay of “Zombies” between platforms and generations of gaming systems. Black Ops Cold War obviously won’t have any problems with matchmaking. In addition, progress will be shared across multiplayer and zombie mode, so you can level up your weapons and Battle Pass in any way you want.

Treyarch also announced that for the first time in the series, the Zombie updates will be free. Players will receive new maps, storylines, weapons, and other improvements at no additional cost.

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War will be released along with Zombies mode on November 13th. Open beta test The games will take place from October 8 to 12 on PlayStation 4, and from October 15 to October 19, Treyarch will launch a general open beta on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
