The Amazfit T-Rex Pro 2 rugged smartwatch is really getting ready to hit the market. The other day we saw photos from the FCC database, but now there are high-quality renders.
The design of the new model will not change much, but there will be new color options: Astro Black and Gold, Wild Green and Desert Khaki. The watch will receive a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels, which will be characterized by a maximum brightness of 1000 cd / m2. Of course, protection from water and physical influences will remain.
The device will also receive a new BioTracker 3.0 PPG biometric sensor, be able to track more than 150 types of sports activity, and will also be equipped with a GPS module and Bluetooth 5.0. Autonomy will be up to 24 days. In intensive mode, we are talking about 10 days. From the rest, 32 MB of RAM, 512 MB of flash memory, and a 500 mAh battery are reported.
In addition, Amazfit is also preparing a Vienna model. This is also a protected watch, but standing a step above the T-Rex. At least there is a titanium case and sapphire crystal. At the same time, the design is somewhat different, and the characteristics too, so this is a separate model, and not a top version.
For example, the screen is smaller here: AMOLED with a diagonal of 1.28 inches with a resolution of 416 x 416 pixels. There is also a higher level of water protection (20 ATM vs 10 ATM), so you can dive with this watch. The Vienna has 4GB of flash storage, no eSIM, and the battery is the same as the T-Rex Pro 2.
The announcement of both new products is expected in the summer, but there is no exact data yet.
