Recently, Lu Weibing, general manager of the Redmi brand, officially announced the Redmi K40 series on Weibo and announced that the smartphone will be the cheapest flagship powered by Snapdragon 888 at a price of $ 460.
Now, Chinese sources have published a new render that shows the Redmi K40 on both sides. If there are no revelations on the front, then by the design of the back panel and the camera unit, the smartphone will immediately be recognized.
According to the latest news, the Redmi K40 smartphone will receive the world’s smallest front camera embedded into the screen. The hole diameter is only 2.8 mm. Redmi will receive an OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Earlier, official representatives of Xiaomi and Redmi confirmed that the Redmi K40 will be equipped with the most expensive OLED flat screen on the market.
The Redmi K40 will ship with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash. The Redmi K40 lineup is expected to feature Dimensity 1200, Snapdragon 888, and possibly Snapdragon 870 models.
The head of the Redmi brand has confirmed that the presentation of the Redmi K40 will take place in February this year.
