This is what the unique French iPhone 12 kit looks like

As many already know, Apple made the decision with the release of the iPhone 12 series to cut the contents of the package and delete the headphones and power adapter from it. However, in one country of the world, the package has remained almost the same – with the included wired EarPods headphones.

Now one French blogger TheiCollection has shown what this unique package of iPhone 12 looks like. The boxes of the new iPhones are thinner than those of yesteryear. However, instead of producing an enlarged box specifically for France, Apple seems to have decided to put standard iPhone boxes like all other countries in larger boxes that also contain EarPods. This is quite an elegant solution for mass production and international logistics.

Recall that Apple justifies its decision not with a desire to save money, but with concern for the environment. In addition to the new iPhone 12, the cut-down package has also started to be used for older iPhone models, which will continue to be sold through Apple’s official channels.

However, in France this tactic had to be abandoned. The fact is that back in 2010, the French authorities passed a law prohibiting the sale of mobile phones that do not have accessories used to limit exposure to radio waves during communication.
