This is what Samsung’s first dual-fold smartphone looks like: first quality images
The Letsgodigital website has published the first high-quality images of Samsung’s new foldable smartphone of a completely new type: its screen will be able to bend in two places and increase in area three times.
The published images suggest that the hinge parts of the new device will support a 360-degree bend of the screen, that is, the smartphone can be folded like an accordion or like a wallet.
The name of the dual-fold smartphone is still unknown. It is speculated that Samsung may call this device the Galaxy Z Duo-Fold or the Galaxy Z Tri-Fold. According to Nikkei Asia, when unfolded, the screen can have an aspect ratio of 16: 9 or 18: 9.
It is not known how much such a smartphone will cost, but it can be assumed that it will be more expensive than the Galaxy Z Fold 2, which was launched on the market at a price of 1999 euros.
According to Nikkei Asia, this smartphone is expected to be released this year.

Published the first picture taken on the camera of a clamshell smartphone Moto RAZR 2022

Motorola has published on the Weibo social network a picture taken with the main camera of the Moto RARZ 2022 clamshell smartphone, which is expected to premiere on August 11. Typically, mobile device manufacturers try to take bright and memorable photos, or vice versa, they take photos in difficult conditions (for example, with a lack of light) in order to demonstrate the quality capabilities of the camera. But in this case, there is neither one nor the other – the frame is far from the most revealing.
Let’s hope that one of these days more clear photos from the RAZR 2022 camera will appear on the Web. The smartphone, we recall, will be the first in the world in its category (folding smartphones with a vertical screen), the display frame rate of which will be 144 Hz. The main screen of the device is characterized by a diagonal of 6.7 inches, the diagonal of the additional front screen is 2.7 inches. The hardware platform of the smartphone is based on SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. All these data have already been officially confirmed.

No simplified version of Nothing Phone (1): Carl Pei denied the preparation of such a model

The founder of Nothing, Carl Pei, commented on the social network rumors about the release of the budget version of Nothing Phone (1). According to them, the new version will lose the Glyph LED backlight.
Pei stated that no simplified Nothing Phone (1) without LEDs is planned. He briefly called it “fake news”.
Previously, the Nothing Phone (1) smartphone was tested in the AnTuTu benchmark, where it unexpectedly showed the best result in its class. At the same time, the smartphone endured the drop test worse. It is noteworthy that the screen can withstand drops in the presence of a film, but the back panel suffers much more.
The price of the smartphone is from 469 euros for the basic memory configuration.
