This is the new Renault Duster 2025. The crossover was first filmed on the road
Renault has begun testing a new generation of the Duster crossover, with spy photos published by Autocar.
It is known that the new Renault Duster will receive the corporate identity demonstrated in the Dacia Bigster concept car. The Renault Duster prototype has the same flat hood as the Bigster and narrow LED daytime running lights.
A handle is visible on the front door, and the handle for opening the rear door is probably disguised in the C-pillar area. Also, the photos show the new shape of the taillights and a large spoiler, which also repeat similar elements of the Bigster.
The new Renault Duster is based on the CMF-B platform developed jointly by Renault and Nissan and will also have a Nissan-badged version. The car will receive versions with both a 5-seater saloon and seven seats (2 + 3 + 2). According to the first data, the new Renault Duster in India will be released only in the version with an internal combustion engine. Renault Duster will debut in this country in 2025.
Europe will have its own Duster – branded Dacia, it is also in the road test phase. It will be presented next year.

Truck “Ural” tried on a hybrid power plant. The company showed its first such prototype and set its sights on an all-electric version.

The Ural Automobile Plant demonstrated its first prototype of an electric truck equipped with a hybrid power plant.
A car with a 4×2 wheel formula is still called simply “Ural”. It is powered by an LNG engine that is used as a generator to charge a battery, which in turn powers an electric motor. At the moment, it is known that the power reserve is only 100 km, but in this case, we mean the ability of a car to drive such a distance solely due to the battery. Since the car is also equipped with an internal combustion engine, as a result, in general, the power reserve is quite worthy of 500 km.
The company is reportedly planning to develop an all-electric truck and then a hydrogen fuel cell version. But so far we are only talking about prototypes, but there is no data on serial machines with similar power plants.

Polish state-owned brand Izera builds Pininfarina-designed electric vehicles on China’s Geely platform

The young Polish car brand Izera has announced that all three of its first electric vehicles will be developed in collaboration with the famous Italian studio Pininfarina.
Pininfarina will be responsible for the interior and exterior design, as well as the shell of the multimedia system.
The goal of our collaboration with Pininfarina is to use the stylistic DNA we showcased during the 2020 Izera prototype public launch; and update the brand’s unique stylistic language to match the platform on which our vehicles will be built and market trends
The first three models that the company is preparing will be a hatchback, station wagon and crossover. They will enter the market in 2025. As previously reported, the cars are built on the Geely SEA platform. It is already known that all cars will be able to accelerate to 100 km / h in about 7 seconds and will have a range of about 440 km. Whether there will be any other configurations is unknown.
It is also worth noting that ElectroMobility Poland, which owns the Izera brand, is a state-owned company. Thus, the Polish state-owned company creates Italian-designed electric vehicles on a Chinese platform.

Babyark smart child car seat unveiled with military-grade technology and multiple sensors

Introduced a child car seat that was created by Frank Stephenson Design in collaboration with Babyark, an innovative baby safety technology company. Its design is inspired by the egg.
The child seat is constructed with a carbon fiber frame and military-grade energy-absorbing technology that sets it apart from virtually all other child seats on the market. It also includes the SafeCoil steel-based cushioning system that gently slows the seat forward during an accident. An advanced side impact protection system has also been implemented.
Another addition to the safety of the child seat is a set of 14 sensors in the base that constantly monitor a wide range of parameters, such as whether the seat is correctly installed, and can also tell the owner if the child is properly secured. Accelerometers and gyroscopes can also register the force of any collision and notify users when the seat can be reused.
After working in the automotive industry, I always wanted to go beyond the simple design of car shapes. Safety standards and design in the industry have changed significantly, and yet we easily neglect the technology needed to keep children safe.
