Xiaomi is working on a new tablet that the company plans to launch through its Redmi division. Presumably, it will be released under the name Redmi Pad 5G.

The source reports that mass production of the new Redmi tablet has already begun in various regions of Europe and Asia. This is probably the Redmi Pad 5G. In addition, we have a live photo that shows the back of the device and the design of the main camera.

The tablet has also been spotted in the databases of various regulators, who have confirmed support for 5G and Wi-Fi 802.11ac. In addition, the Chinese 3C regulator has confirmed support for 67W fast charging.

It is expected that the tablet will be built on the basis of the MediaTek single-chip system and will run the MIUI Lite shell, which is designed for low-cost devices. There is a possibility that a Pro variant based on a more powerful platform may appear in the future.

The presentation of new items can take place at any time.
