Thin and light metal case, Intel CPU and good autonomy at a price of $445. Realme Notebook Air unveiled
Realme has introduced an affordable Notebook Air laptop, which can please at least its weight and size characteristics, but in fact, not only.
So, the novelty starts at just $445. At the same time, this is a full-fledged ultrabook, since the thickness of the case here is only 14.9 mm, and the laptop weighs only 1.36 kg. This is rare in this price range. Plus, the body is metal.
As for the parameters, they are also very worthy for such a price. The heart is the unnamed Core i3 of the Tiger Lake generation. It’s probably the Core i3-1115G4 as it’s very popular. Also, the laptop received 8 GB of RAM and a 256 or 512 GB SSD.
For some reason, Realme does not indicate the diagonal of the screen on the site, talking only about the aspect ratio of 16:10 and a thin frame around the screen. True, the lower part of the frame is not at all thin, but manufacturers usually omit this point. Judging by the photos, most likely we are talking about a screen with a diagonal of about 14 inches.
The company also promises good autonomy up to 13.5 hours thanks to a battery with a capacity of 54 Wh. The kit comes with a 65-watt charger.
Of the rest, it is worth noting Wi-Fi 6, a fingerprint scanner, a relatively large touchpad, Windows 11, as well as USB 3.2 (x2), USB-C 3.2 (x2) ports and a headphone jack.
A screenshot from the presentation of Acer, held in Indonesia, has been published on the Web. One of the slides features a Swift Edge laptop (part number SFA16-41). It aims to be the world’s lightest 16-inch laptop.
The declared mass of the device is only 1.1 kg. At the same time, the laptop received an OLED panel with a resolution of 4K and a frame rate of 90 Hz. There are no other details, but it can be assumed that the device uses 12 generation Intel processors.
At the moment, the lightest 16-inch laptop is LG Gram 16 – it is equipped with a screen with a resolution of 2.5K, and weighs 1.19 kg. Obviously, the new Acer will be more attractive, but so far it is not on sale and its cost is unknown.

Retail sales of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 14 2022 Ryzen Edition in China will start tomorrow, but the device is already available for pre-order. And it’s better to really hurry up, because pre-ordering the device will cost much less. For example, the base version with a Ryzen 5 6600H CPU, 16GB LPDDR5-6400MHz RAM, and a 512GB SSD is now available for $800 and retails for $960. The Ryzen 7 6800H pre-order version is $870, retail is $1,035.
Now all the key parameters of the laptop have become known. So, Mi Notebook Pro 14 2022 Ryzen Edition received an OLED display with a diagonal of 14 inches, a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels, a frame rate of 90 Hz and coverage of 100% of the DCI-P3 color space. For a model without a discrete GPU, there is a fairly powerful cooling system – with two fans and two heat pipes.
The interface connectors are represented by three USB-C 3.2 Gen 2. The device configuration also includes a backlit keyboard, a 56 Wh battery, and an all-metal case. The laptop is 14.9 mm thick and weighs 1.4 kg. The package includes a power supply with an output power of 100 W.
Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Xiaomi Notebook Pro 14 Ryzen Edition laptop, which will be equipped with Ryzen 6000H series processors and an OLED touch screen.
In terms of design, the Xiaomi Notebook Pro 14 Ryzen Edition will be the same as the base version. The differences will be in the processor and the presence of the Thunderbolt 4 interface.
The standard Xiaomi Notebook Pro 14 is equipped with 16GB of LPDDR5 memory and 512GB of PCIe 4.0 SSD. The laptop received a 14-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2.8K, which supports a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a brightness of 600 cd / m2covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
In addition, the notebook features a pressure-sensitive touchpad that is coated with anti-reflective AG glass. There is also a reverse tactile feedback on touch. Xiaomi Notebook Pro 14 Core Edition starts at $870.
The laptop will be released on August 8th.
