More spacious than the CR-V and with a consumption of only 1.75 liters per 100 km. New crossover Honda Breeze ready for release in China

The next-generation Honda Breeze mid-size crossover has been on sale in China since December last year, and hybrid versions are now certified – regular and plug-in hybrid. This is equivalent to obtaining a production permit.
Externally and in terms of equipment, the hybrid Breeze is no different from the usual gasoline version, but the power plants, of course, are different: in both cases, a 2.0-liter engine is used, supplemented by an electric motor. The maximum output of the conventional hybrid power plant is 150 hp, the maximum output of the plug-in hybrid version is 184 hp. The average fuel consumption of the plug-in hybrid version is 1.75 liters.
Dimensions Honda Breeze – 4716 x 1866 x 1681 mm with a wheelbase length of 2701 mm. It’s the size of the Breeze’s wheelbase that surpasses the CR-V, so the car is slightly roomier inside.

NASA SLS launch vehicle over budget by $6 billion and six years behind schedule

NASA’s SLS super-heavy booster is already over budget by $6 billion and six years behind schedule, according to a recent report.
A recent report generated by the NASA Inspector General’s review indicates that NASA’s spending on the Artemis program will reach $93 billion by 2025, including the $23.8 billion already spent on SLS through 2022.
Despite a successful first run earlier this year, the Inspector notes that the project involves additional costs and a further shift in the schedule. Moreover, if the existing problems are not resolved in time, this may jeopardize the entire mission of Artemis.
As for delays, out of the six years mentioned, five years of delay, and at the same time an additional almost $ 2 billion, fell on Northrop Grumman accelerators. The bottom line is that the SLS project initially involved the partial use of old equipment from the days of the Space Shuttle program. Of course, with the necessary upgrades. Northrop Grumman boosters were one such element.
The inspector blames the situation on the cost-plus pricing method and recommends switching to fixed prices. In general, NASA agreed with all eight of the inspector’s recommendations.

Like 635 hp few. In Germany, the BMW M5 CS sedan was “pumped” up to 823 hp.

The BMW M5 CS is the most powerful combustion-engined M model in BMW history, and now the sedan is even more powerful. If in the base the power of its 4.4-liter V8 engine is 635 hp, then after the intervention of specialists from the Manhart tuning studio, the engine began to produce 823 hp! Even the base BMW M5 CS accelerates to 100 km / h in 3 seconds, and the boosted version is even more dynamic, although exact data is not given.
In addition to increasing engine power, the specialists reduced the weight of the sedan by 70 kg: they installed new lighter wheels on the car, and replaced the standard seats with similar ones, but with a composite frame instead of a metal one. Other changes include KW adjustable springs and a stainless steel exhaust system with control valves.
