Much has been said about the promising flagship Intel Raptor Lake processors, and now there are details about the more affordable and potentially more popular Core i5-13400 and i5-13500. Judging by the data from the PassMark database, their frequencies will be noticeably lower than those of the current Core i5-12400 and Core i5-12500.

Recall that the Core i5-12400 operates at a frequency of 2.5-4.4 GHz, and the frequencies of the Core i5-12500 – 3.0-4.6 GHz. Both of these CPUs are 6-core. The Core i5-13400 and i5-13500 will have more cores: four energy-efficient ones will be added to the six productive ones. This will obviously make the CPU faster in multi-threaded tasks, but the frequencies will decrease: for the Core i5-13400 they will be 2.5-4.1 GHz, for the Core i5-13500 – 2.5-4.5 GHz.

The Ryzen 9 7950X processor continues to impress with advances even before it hits the market.

This time the processor showed how energy efficient it can be even with extreme overclocking. So, the Sampson overclocker managed to overclock the CPU to 6.5 GHz for all cores using liquid nitrogen.

And at such a high frequency, the processor consumed only 270 watts. For comparison, the Core i9-12900K requires about the same amount without any overclocking, just under maximum load. The Core i9-13900K, when overclocked to 6.2-6.3 GHz, requires about 400 watts.

With such overclocking, the new AMD scores more than 48,200 points in Cinebench R23, and in Cinebench R20 the result reaches 18,605 points. There is also a result from another source with overclocking to 6.7 GHz and 50,395 points in Cinebench R23.

Recall that the Ryzen 9 7950X will be on sale on September 27th. Intel on the same day will introduce its Raptor Lake processors, but they will not go on sale until October.

There are reportedly at least two dates for the Arc A770. First, unpackings of the adapter will be published on September 30, and then on October 5, thematic resources will be able to publish reviews as well.

Earlier, Intel itself said that the Arc A750 will be released along with the A770, so, apparently, the indicated dates are also valid for the younger card. But there is no data about Arc A580.

In addition, it is expected that on September 27, the day of the announcement of the Raptor Lake processors, Intel can share new details about the graphics cards. In particular, to finally name the prices, which she promised to make very competitive.

Recall that the top Arc A770 is reportedly capable of competing with the GeForce RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti.

Moreover, the age of the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti turned out to be short-lived.

If the GeForce RTX 3090 has lived quite a long life, then you can’t say the same about the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti. At the same time, this model performed the important function of a test platform for the GeForce RTX 4090. Well, since the GeForce RTX 4090 is already officially presented and will go on sale pretty soon, then there is no point in it: the current and previous flagship would simply compete with each other, which clearly not in the hands of Nvidia.

However, the fact that the GeForce RTX 3090 and RTX 3090 Ti are discontinued does not mean that these models will immediately disappear from sale. They will be available for purchase until stocks run out. Even now, these models are presented in the official Nvidia online store.
