Today, Huawei officially introduced the nova 10 series smartphones. Traditionally, the line has two models – the nova 10 itself and the nova 10 Pro. The second was the world’s first smartphone with a front camera system, which has two modules with sensors with a resolution of 60 and 8 megapixels, each with autofocus. The first uses an ultra-wide-angle lens, the second uses a portrait lens. Due to the difference in focal lengths and subsequent software processing, a zoom of up to 5x is provided.
The hardware platform, alas, is the unremarkable Snapdragon 778G. The main camera is pretty standard too, using 50MP (with RYYB pixel layout and wide-angle lens), 8MP (ultra wide-angle lens) and 2MP (for scene depth analysis) sensors.
Huawei nova 10 Pro features a 6.78-inch 120Hz OLED screen, a 4500mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging (full charge in 20 minutes), Wi-Fi 6E and NFC connectivity.
The screen of the nova 10 is slightly smaller – 6.67 inches, and the front camera here is single – with a 60-megapixel sensor and an ultra-wide angle lens. The main camera is the same as in nova 10 Pro. The battery capacity was 4000 mAh, the maximum charging speed was 66 watts. Wi-Fi 6E and NFC chips are present.
New items are running HarmonyOS. The thickness and weight of the nova 10 is 6.88 mm and 168 grams, the nova 10 Pro is 7.88 mm and 191 grams. Pre-sales in China will start today, retail – July 8. Prices look like this:
Huawei nova 10 8/128 GB – $405, 8/256 GB – $450;
Huawei nova 10 Pro 8/128 GB – $555, 8/256 GB – $600.

The iPhone 16 and Galaxy S24 lines will not receive an increase in RAM compared to their predecessors, despite the hype around AI
Samsung smartphones from the Galaxy S24 line and devices from the iPhone 16 line will likely retain the same RAM options that current models currently have.
Analysts at Mizuho Securities, cited by insider Revegnus, say that the growing demand for AI should, in theory, contribute to the growth of RAM in smartphones. We previously reported that thanks to the emphasis on AI, manufacturers may begin to actively equip their smartphones with 16-24 GB of RAM.
However, a significant increase in memory prices, as well as the still missing scenarios for local AI that will run directly on smartphones, will lead to the fact that next year manufacturers will not actively increase the amount of memory. In particular, Samsung and Apple can leave everything as it is now.
This means that the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will each receive 6 GB of RAM, and the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max will each receive 8 GB. Samsung’s new generation flagships will have 8 or 12 GB of RAM.
It is likely that other manufacturers will not rush to increase volumes, and this, in turn, may slow down the development of local AI on smartphones.
Today Samsung officially unveiled the budget smartphone Galaxy A15. The new product is offered in two versions: with LTE and 5G. Accordingly, the first is built on the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, and the second is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. In terms of everything else, these versions have no differences.
The Galaxy A15 4G has two memory configurations: with 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of flash memory. The Galaxy A15 5G has one memory configuration: 8/1256 GB.
Samsung Galaxy A15 received a Super AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.5 inches, a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, a frame rate of 90 Hz and a peak brightness of 800 cd/sq.m. The battery capacity is 5000 mAh and supports 25 W charging.
The camera is represented by sensors with a resolution of 50, 5 and 2 megapixels. The front camera is 13 megapixel. Dimensions and weight of the smartphone are 160.1 x 76.8 x 8.4 mm and 200 grams.
Galaxy A15 launched in Vietnam. The price of the LTE version is from $200, the 5G version is $260.
