The world’s first satellite-enabled mid-range smartphone with ultra-strong Kunlun glass and variable aperture lens. Huawei nova 11 Ultra has something to surprise
Insider Digital Chat Station revealed details about the equipment of the Huawei nova 11 Ultra, the flagship of the new line of Huawei mid-range smartphones. According to rumors, this device was supposed to be the first in the world in its class with support for satellite communications, and an insider confirms these data.
At Huawei, satellite communications are supported by smartphones of the Mate 50 and P60 series, and now the nova 11 Ultra will be on a par with them. Moreover, like flagships, it will receive heavy-duty Kunlun glass (it is stronger than Gorilla Glass Victus 2 in the Galaxy S23 Ultra and other flagships), as well as a variable aperture lens in the main camera unit. In general, according to a number of parameters, the nova 11 Ultra will bypass many of the current flagships.
Alas, things are not so rosy with the platform. If Huawei initially tested Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 for this model, then only Snapdragon 778G 4G will be in the production version. But the rest of the parameters are at the level: nova 11 Ultra will receive a 6.78-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2652 x 1200 pixels and a frame rate of 120 Hz, a front camera with sensors with a resolution of 60 and 8 megapixels (supporting 2x zoom), 50- a megapixel sensor with an RYYB layout in the main camera system (it will be in the module with a variable aperture lens), a 4500 mAh battery with support for 100-watt charging. The nova 11 Ultra is 7.99 mm thick and weighs 188 grams.
Previously, Digital Chat Station was the first to accurately announce the specifications and release dates of Redmi K50 and Xiaomi 12.

There is almost no such thing in any smartphone with a price of up to $500. Vivo S17 Pro got a TV camera

Vivo has introduced a mid-range smartphone S17 Pro, which stands out from the background of most similar devices and even many more expensive ones with the presence of a camera.
Here it’s a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 sensor with only 2x zoom, but it’s better than nothing. Now even many base models of flagships are completely devoid of a camera, and here we are talking about a phone with a price of $435.
The main camera here relies on a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V sensor, and there is also an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The smartphone is also equipped with a large 120Hz 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels and a brightness of up to 1300 cd/m2 and PWM with a frequency of 2160 Hz.
The heart is the pre-top SoC Dimensity 8200, there are also 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of flash memory. Of the rest, a 4600 mAh battery with 80-watt charging, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6 and a thickness of 7.46 mm with a weight of 188 g can be noted.

The iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max will grow, and the iPhone 17 and 17 Plus will finally get 120Hz screens. This is a reliable source

iPhone Pro smartphones in the next year’s lineup will grow strongly, and the younger iPhone 17 will finally get 120Hz screens.
Ross Young, an industry analyst and founder of research companies Display Supply Chain Consultants and DisplaySearch, confirmed his own data that the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max will be larger than their predecessors. The former will receive a 6.27-inch display, while the latter will have a 6.86-inch panel. Probably Apple will refer to them as 6.3 and 6.9 inches respectively.
The screens will be 120Hz and still have the same Dynamic Island cutout. The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus models will retain the size of their predecessors and 60Hz screens.
In the iPhone 17 line, older models will receive the same panels as the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max, but instead of the Dynamic Island cutout, they will only have a cutout for the front camera, and the Face ID module will be placed completely under the screen. But the iPhone 17 and 17 Plus models will retain Dynamic Island, but will finally get 120-Hz panels.
Through his work, Young has access to information related to the screens, so he often knows more than ordinary insiders. In particular, he talked about 120 Hz screens in the iPhone 12 Pro and 60 Hz screens in the younger devices of the line.
