The top Intel Arc A770 desktop graphics card couldn’t even handle the mobile GeForce RTX 3060
So far, Intel has introduced only Arc mobile video cards, and only the youngest model has entered the market in an extremely limited form. But today, the top desktop card Arc A770 was lit up on the Web.
Geekbench software indicates that the adapter has 512 computing units (the number of cores is 4096) and 12.7 GB of memory. Of course, this amount of memory is impossible for a video card, so we are probably talking about 16 GB, since Geekbench can underestimate the value, but not overestimate. At the same time, the GPU frequency is fixed at 2.4 GHz, which is a lot.
The result, however, is quite modest. 85,585 points is less than the mobile GeForce RTX 3060. But Geekbench as a graphics test is far from the best solution, especially when comparing cards from different manufacturers or different generations.
Intel desktop graphics cards are expected at the end of the second quarter. In the meantime, even with the availability of mobile big problems.

Threadripper 7000 will switch to a new socket and a new Zen 4 architecture. This will bring them support for DDR5 memory, probably PCIe 5.0 interface. In addition, the top-end Threadripper 7000s are expected to be 96-core, just like their sister Epyc Genoa.

On the other hand, the frequencies here are completely standard, and from this point of view, the lack of backlight is more of a savings factor.
Video cards look almost the same – and rather modestly. However, they are long – 329 mm (after all, there are three fans) and rather thick (they take up 3.1 slots). It is possible that dual-fan models will also appear in the JetStream series, but already based on the GeForce RTX 4070 or GeForce RTX 4060. The cost of new products has not yet been announced.
