The top flagship Samsung W23 will be released on October 21
Samsung is about to release a series of flagship smartphones Samsung W23, which is exclusive to the Chinese market.
The first smartphone of this series (W699) was released in 2008. Since then, Samsung has been releasing one generation each year in collaboration with China Telecom, a local mobile operator.
Chinese insider Ice Universe has released a promotional poster for the Samsung W23, which features the slogan: “A heart that touches the world.” It is also indicated that the smartphone will be released on October 21 this year.
This year’s W23 series is expected to include the W23 and W23 Flip models, which will be based on the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, respectively.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 uses a 6.2-inch external OLED screen with a resolution of 2316 x 904 pixels and support for variable refresh rates up to 120Hz. The internal screen has a diagonal of 7.6 inches with a resolution of 2176 x 1812 pixels and a frequency of 120 Hz.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 is more compact, with a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED main screen and a 1.9-inch outer screen.

But this will not happen in the Nubia Z60 Ultra: the corresponding module will have a fast (F/1.8) 50-megapixel 1/1.56-inch optical format sensor, complemented by an eight-element lens and an optical stabilization system. In general, this model will have triple OIS – in each of the three modules.
The official premiere of Nubia Z60 Ultra will take place on December 19. The smartphone will receive Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a 6000 mAh battery and IP68 protection.
